Reliance Entertainment, which Only Produces Big Bbudget films like 83 Movie and Suryavanshi Movie, still maintains that they’re going to release their films in theaters first.
83 Movie got a suggestion of Rs 143 crores
With the announcement of the direct release of seven new films on the OTT platform ‘Amazon Prime’ amid the lockdown, it’s believed that the films of small and medium budget are getting to go there.
The company’s CEO, Shivashish Sarkar, Says, there’s less chance of opening of theaters within the next one year. In such a situation, what can Plan B have with film producers? There are 40-50 budget films. it’s certain that even all OTT platforms are available, the power to shop for 200 films isn’t available.
The third thing is that also 60 percent of the box office revenue comes from theaters. No producer can leave that revenue for long.
